Tahlula's Eclectic Bazaar

Ecclectic is absolutely what you are!  When did Tahlula's Eclectic Bazaar come into "being"

I have been putting it all together for about 4 years. I've been a craft-aholic for most of my life!  Making things a little different is what I love doing.

We love how you get everyone to have a hands-on experience at market with you with things like painting on the paper lanterns.  What was the inspiration behind this concept?

I have worked in the childcare industry on and off over the last 20 years and I always love helping kids (and adults for that matter) develop their creative side.

Is there a certain type of product/range that you overtly ensure you always have (eg: fair trade items, hand crafted items etc) and if so, why is that

I love doing the tie-dyes and everything on my stall is handmade, upcycled or changed in some way to suit my eclectic style.

What would be the item that sells most at market

My crazy hats!  I've got cats, dogs, owls, pandas, lions, dino's, sheep, chicks, frogs, giraffes, zebras, tigers, skulls, Mike & Sully, Minnie & Micky, Cabbage Patch and sooooo many more it's not funny!

My tea cosies sell like crazy too!

A feeing of calm, serenity and the enjoyment of life seems to be reflected through your stall.  In a world where there is so much chaos and everyone is in a hurry to be somewhere, it definitely makes for a pleasant change

For anyone who has not yet been to Rouse Hill Markets, what 5 words would you use to encourage them to not just have a 5 second look but to hang around, mingle and simply enjoy "being"

Stop and take a breath!

We couldn't agree more.  So make sure you take time in your busy day and visit the Queen of Eclectic, paint a lantern, wear a hat, see these tea cosies and all other amazing wares.  The sign below kind of sums it all up don't you think?
